he talked to me for a while, but he never asked for money, he said that he was a doctor and that he was very rich.

You dealing with Nigerian scammer gang that used this doctor pics to attract a women than get the $$$ from them later. The real doctor in the pics did not know about it. So please post all info that you have such as his phone number, email id, pics, copy chat with him, etc. Than we can help you to make sure is the one that you communicated with real or not.
