Yes, I fell hard for a scam using Jay McH. pictures. Said his name was Hiliare Ferrand and his daughter's name was Isabella. He lost his wife in a car accident about 5 years ago. He was supposedly raised in France, which was said to explain his awkward language online, but moved to Texas after college and works in the oil industry. The email he is using is hiliareferrand9@gmail.com. I wish I had been wise enough to google oil rig scam 2 months ago but I had no idea. Shortly after we "met" on WWF he started saying he was falling for me really fast even though I told him I was very happily married and wasn't interested in anything other than friendship. He supposedly was awarded an $8million contract from Exxon to work on one of their oil rigs for four months. He sent me a picture of himself on the plane. Then a week or so after he supposedly got to the oil rig he was confused because not only was his bank account frozen but all his credit cards too. He supposedly had his birthday August 25th and said he turned 57. Isabella's birthday was a couple of weeks earlier and she turned 7. The first significant money he wanted was for Isabella's birthday, which then because I thought it was stupid to spend that kind of money on a 7 year old's birthday morphed into an emergency with his nanny's mother and needed the money for the trip to SC. Then supposedly one of the machines he is in charge of was breaking down. I actually sent the amount of money he asked me for but fortunately the company I used to send it wouldn't release it because they suspected a scam. I blocked him twice and then he would reach out on WWF again and I just got swept up and wanted to help him. Master manipulator and sweet talker.
I am embarrassed by this whole thing and grateful that I didn't lose an unbearable amount of money and feel like a big idiot to have fallen for this.
