ATTENTION REAL PICTURE OWNERS...

We, at Romance scam are very aware that you have nothing to do with the scams and that your pictures were stolen and used by con artists. We are also a group that does not hide crime. Therefore, we provide the platform for victims of scammers to post reports including all evidences, part of which, is the photos they steal and use.

We completely understand how upsetting this is for you. However, please understand that it is in your best interest that such reports be kept here with your picture intact. It is far more beneficial for you to have it here than not.

Consider this, every now and then we get scammers sign up here, trying to pretend to be real picture owners, demanding that the picture be removed. The reason why they do this is obvious, it benefits THEM more if your photo is NOT posted here.

Having your photo with report here benefits YOU because...

A.) Although it may not cause ALL scammers to avoid using your pic, it does act as a deterrent for them. Unless you're a porn star, etc. then it is far more likely that scammers will retire your picture, instead of using it, if it has been reported on a site like this.

B.) We VOUCH for your innocence here; not only by disclaimers, but by constant reminders in the threads themselves. Whenever we see any victim remotely assume that the person in the pic is the scammer, we openly correct them on that. Without your innocence established here, victims could unjustly conclude that the scammer is the person in the picture! When pictures are not posted here and the identity of a real picture owner is not established, many victims do their own research. When this happens, many real picture owners have reported being harassed by angry victims accusing them of being a scammer. Some have even reported a victim stalking them and harassing them on the phone and in person. With your pictures here, your identity established, and us vouching for you the way we do, this will stop even the most determined victims. Besides, you can clearly state what contact you prefer, if any.

ATTN GUESTS!!Telling your mugu that he/she is busted will accomplish absolutely nothing but teaching them how to be better at scamming/victimizing, as well as cause other victims unnecessary duress. Unless this is what you hope to cause, do NOT confront them!
