A man by claiming to be this British Military official just contacted me via Skype the other day. He claims to be General David Richards. I was cautious upon this and thought I would copy and paste the IM's that he had with me. I googled his name and found this site and see that scammers are now coming out of Ghana with romance scams. I am glad that I am smarter than the average bear and decided to research this individual before drawing a conclusion. Usually, when something is too good to be true, it is. So far this person has not asked for money and I have noticed that the English of this person is not quite up to par as one would think a 3 star General would be...anyways...here is the conversation....

Now...I was already skeptical after this first contact....the next contact the "General" had with me while I was mobile from my ebuddy account...I was not able to copy and paste that conversation, but the General was claiming that he loves me and wants me to be his wife....again...still skeptical and not so quick to move on anything. He claims he will have a vacation in 3 months time and wants to come to the US and see me. However, I am waiting for the topic of sending money via Western Union to come up in future conversations....as soon as that comes up, I know he is a scammer for sure. The conversation above was done via Skype and this person's username is Gen david richards. I smelled a rat from the beginning, and after viewing this site and the posts on th topic....I am smelling the stench of rat even stronger now.
