I came across that guy a few months ago. I did my research. He is a fallen soldier attached to the US Army and was stationed in Afghanistan. Many scammers get a hold of the files of these dead soldiers and pose as them. Many of them ask us to receive money on their behalf. Yes, they are scammers and they only want to launder cash only to come to your location to pick it up at a later date and most of them mean no physical harm to the victim accept for the money one has to put out for processing fees, stamp duty or whatever nonsense they can come up with to get your money. If you question them enough and they feel they can trust you they will tell you who they really are and then you wish them well and move on. However they can be dangerous if you antagonize them or aggravate them in any way and they will threaten you if you do that. I have found that many are terrorists belonging to various terror organizations simply trying to find a way to get out of their current life and they use us on the net as catalysts in order for them to be finally rid of the constraints of that life style.
