To me he was Staff Sgt Larry Edwards, age 55, dob 7/4/60 from Tampa FL, currently serving in the Lashkar Gar province of Afghanistan. Met him on POF and quickly changed to email address of larry_edwards20@yahoo.com. Didn't question the non-military address as my ex was military and always had a personal email address. He never asked for money, but stated he was retiring in October 2016 and will be returning home to Palm Springs. Parents deceased, divorced with one son. Very loving and kind. Didn't catch all the grammar at first so this guy is getting better apparently at hiding it. Said all the right things. And now he mentions that his Army buddy Jake took his pics for him. The pics he forwarded had a date stamp which was that same day's date -- all current. Wish I had done a search of him first before sharing too much personal info. Don't know if this is really him in the pics or did someone just happen to falsify images of an enlisted military man. Regardless it's sick and I'm disgusted.

West African scammers are sitting in internet cafes and scamming innocent people abusing those stolen photos. They never step a food aside of Africa, they chat, text ,call using romance scam scripts.
